We live in a house made of each other.

It’s probably by design that we’re all dumb, blind and deaf. If we understood the full consequences of even our own passing thoughts, actions or whims, we would find ourselves alone in a state of godhood, simultaneously all-powerful and impotent, unable even to trust that the ground beneath our feet won’t open up and swallow us whole.

And yet, certain actors are compelled to sever the shackles of trust that bind us to one another, hoping to see just a little more and gain some insight into who or what they are. Or, worse yet…to cynically replace those bonds with well intentioned artifice. But there comes a point when the further they go, the less human we all become, and the more they threaten to destroy the very future in which we will presently reside.
